Delete your Witan account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's how to delete your Witan account and remove your personal data.

To delete your account:

  1. Open the Witan app on your device
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Tap "Account"
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision

Important: Subscription cancellation

Deleting your Witan account does NOT automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.

If you have an active My Guide subscription, you must cancel it separately through your device's subscription settings:

  • iPhone/iPad: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Witan
  • Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Witan

Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate processes.

What happens when you delete your account

  • Your email address and account information will be permanently deleted
  • Your listening history and preferences will be removed
  • Downloaded content will remain on your device until you uninstall the app

Can't access the app?

If you're unable to delete your account through the app, email us at hello@witanguide.com from the email address associated with your account. We will process your deletion request within 30 days.
